1. About this policy
This policy explains how NeckPilot (“the App”), provided by Paweł Gawliczek, handles information.
2. Data collection
NeckPilot does not collect, receive, sell, or share personal data and does not use data for tracking. The App contains no advertising, analytics, telemetry, third-party SDKs, remote configuration, accounts, or app-managed cloud service.
3. Microphone and audio
With your permission, Tuner detects instrument pitch, Note Trainer Play Mode recognises notes you play, and Key Finder estimates likely musical keys. Audio is processed ephemerally in memory on your device. It is never recorded, retained, logged, uploaded, or transmitted. Access begins only after your explicit action and stops when you stop or leave the feature, the App enters the background, or capture is interrupted.
You can decline access and use other features. Revoke permission at any time in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Microphone.
4. Local data
Preferences, favourites, trainer aggregate statistics, and custom scale patterns are stored only on your device. Individual microphone audio is not stored. Local app data may be included in backups managed by Apple, depending on your device and iCloud settings.
5. Deletion
NeckPilot Settings can reset trainer statistics, favourites, custom patterns, or all local app data. Deleting the App removes its local container, subject to backups controlled through your Apple account. Resetting app data does not change the iOS microphone permission.
6. Network and external links
NeckPilot’s app process makes no network requests. Clearly identified Privacy Policy and Support links open in your system browser, where the destination site’s privacy practices apply.
7. Children
NeckPilot does not knowingly collect personal information from children or any other users and creates no user profiles.
8. Changes
We may update this policy if functionality or legal requirements change. The date above identifies the current version.
